Wasaga Beach Theatre Building on Historic Nancy Island Was Blue for World Diabetes Day

On World Diabetes Day, November 14th, Beach BOOSTER Group lit a Wasaga Beach landmark Blue to in recognition of this special day! For the second year, Wasaga Beach joined the long list of communities around the world who participated by lighting a local structure to create public awareness on Sir Frederick's Banting's Birthday.
With the help of the Wasaga Beach Lions Club, The Town of Wasaga Beach, Ontario Parks, 97.7 The Beach and other local sponsors, Beach BOOSTER Group lit the beautiful Theatre Buildings on Historic Nancy Island Blue. High tech efficient LED lights provided and installed by Reflective Solutions and White Knight LED, created a beautiful refection on the Nottawasaga River . The closing of one lane on the Main Street Bridge provided a dedicated meeting, viewing and photo area. Tim Hortons refreshments and treats, hot pizza from Boston Pizza and delicious sandwiches served by the friendly staff of Breezes Cafe added to the welcoming community atmosphere on our Main Street bridge.
Beach BOOSTER Group would like to thank all of our partners, sponsors and the many people who came by to join us for this special Wasaga Beach event.

We ask that more photos that were taken during the evening be sent to info@beachbooster.com for our album.
